1. Who is the controller
- Bjorg.tech Sp. z o.o, a company registered in Poland, owns
https://madeineurope.news, sells the digital products offered there and acts as the data controller for the personal data described below. - Data protection contact: ada@ada-margo.com.
- This notice covers every part of the service: buying the e-book, the online reader, the AI assistant, consultation bookings and the AI-tool waiting list.
2. Personal data we process
- Order data: email address, transaction ID, product, amount, payment status and — if you request an invoice — company name, address and VAT/tax ID.
- Access data: reader password / access token and the voucher code linked to your order.
- Booking data: name, email, optional phone number (for SMS reminders), chosen slot, time zone and any note you add.
- Form data: email address and message content when you join the AI-tool waiting list.
- AI assistant conversations: the prompts you send and the answers generated, only as needed to produce the response.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser type, aggregated analytics events.
- We never receive your card number or banking credentials — those are collected and processed solely by our payment provider, Paddle.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- performing the contract — delivering the e-book, reader access, AI assistant and voucher (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR),
- managing bookings and sending email/SMS reminders (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR),
- waiting-list sign-up and launch announcements (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent),
- tax, accounting and record-keeping obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR),
- service security, fraud prevention, product analytics and defending legal claims (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interests).
4. Recipients and processors
- Paddle.com Market Ltd (Judd House, 18–29 Mora Street, London EC1V 8BT, United Kingdom) — payment provider and Merchant of Record. Paddle takes the payment (card, BLIK), calculates and remits VAT/sales tax, issues the sales document and handles returns. For payment purposes Paddle acts as an independent controller under its own privacy policy and buyer terms. Paddle shares the buyer email, billing details and transaction status with us.
- Lovable / Supabase — hosting and the database holding orders, bookings and access records.
- Resend — transactional email (book access, invoice, booking confirmations and reminders).
- Twilio — SMS reminders, only when you provide a phone number.
- AI model providers (including Anthropic via the Lovable AI gateway) — processing AI-assistant prompts. Order data is not sent to them.
- Google Analytics 4 — website and content analytics.
- Professional advisers and accountants, and public authorities where the law requires it.
- We do not sell personal data or share it for third-party marketing.
5. International transfers
- Some providers (Paddle, Resend, Twilio, Google, AI model providers) process data outside the EEA, in particular in the United Kingdom and the United States.
- Transfers rely on adequacy decisions or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, together with supplementary safeguards such as encryption in transit and access controls.
6. Retention
- order and invoice data — 5 years from the end of the tax year,
- reader access data — for as long as your access to the content lasts (unlimited),
- booking data — 12 months after the session takes place or is cancelled,
- waiting-list data — until you withdraw consent, and no later than 31 December 2028,
- analytics data — up to 14 months, in aggregated form.
7. Your rights
- access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests,
- withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal,
- a complaint to the Polish supervisory authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw) or your local authority,
- we respond within one month of a request sent to ada@ada-margo.com. Requests about payments, invoices and refunds are handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record.
8. Security
- We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: HTTPS transport, encryption of stored data, row-level security in the database, restricted administrative access and password-protected PDF files.
- The admin panel is password-protected and limited to people handling orders and bookings.
9. Cookies and analytics
- We use essential cookies (reader session, “Remember me”, consent state) and analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4).
- You can block analytics cookies in your browser without losing access to a purchased e-book. Blocking essential cookies may require re-entering your password.
- During checkout Paddle may set its own cookies needed to complete the transaction and detect fraud.
10. Changes to this notice
- Updates are published on this page with a new version number and effective date. We email people with active content access about material changes.
